Pre-Shipment Inspections

Pre-shipment inspections are offered by Strade and performed by a 3rd party company. Inspections are an excellent way to make sure that buyers receive what they are expecting. While they add cost to the base price of the product, they provide assurance of quality and peace of mind and help avoid issues. Strade recommends buyers to request pre-shipment inspections on each larger order, even if they have purchased from the vendor in the past. Issues in the production process can happen any time, and may go unnoticed until products are going on the shelves.

Inspection services can be purchased along with the products in some vendor’s stores, or can be purchased separately after the order has been submitted. With questions regarding the Strade Inspection Service offerings, please reach out to customer care.

pre-shipment inspection

100% Product Inspection

Inspectors will inspect each and every product in the order. Ideally, this is the best option if you want to make sure that all product will be issue-free, though it will drive up the cost up of the product.

50% Product Inspection

Inspectors will pull and inspect every 2nd product in the order. This is the 2nd best option if you want to make sure that all product will be issue-free, though it will drive up the cost up of the product and not as effective as inspecting every product in the order.

25% Product Inspection

Inspectors will pull and inspect every 4th product in the order. This is the 4th best option if you want to make sure that all product will be issue-free, though it will drive up the cost up of the product and not as effective as inspecting every product in the order.

33% Product Inspection

Inspectors will pull and inspect every 3rd product in the order. This is the 3rd best option if you want to make sure that all product will be issue-free, though it will drive up the cost up of the product and not as effective as inspecting every product in the order.

Inspection Service by the Day

You have the option to hire pre-shipment inspection services by the day, meaning that you pay for the inspectors to show for the day and they will inspect as many products as they can during that time frame. This is a workable option is you are ordering a large amount of products and it’s not cost-effective to inspect all or most pieces, but only pull a batch of products to inspect to calculate the possible faulty products.
